Dwayn Johnson The Rock Johnsons popularity soared in the early 2000s through the modern world Wrestling Federation (today World Wrestling Entertainment) and since then he has crossed above into movie stardom.

Dwayn Manley, born May 2, 1972, in Hayward, Calif., came to South Florida in 1990 to play football for any University of Miami Hurricanes, where by he was a walkon non-scholarship person, playing defensive tackle in back of Warren Sapp, an inevitable first-round draft choice and all-pro.

After college, Johnson played football for just two months with the Calgary Stampeders with the CFL (Canadian Hockey League), then was already released. Johnson next followed their famous fathers and their grandfathers footsteps and became a professional wrestler. Then a short training stint in 1995, he competed for the WWF under the artists Flex Cavana and Pidlaoan Pebbles, then Rocky Maiavia (a combination of his fathers and grandfathers names), before turning babyface,  in wrestling lingo and become the Rock.
